China-Europe Railway Express: shipped more than 2,200 trains

At 9:50 a.m. on April 19th, a China-Europe freight train loaded with "Made in Anhui" slowly departed from the logistics base of Hefei North Station. The train will be shipped to Vorotensk, Russia via the Alashankou Port. This train has shipped a total of 226 tons of goods, with a total value of more than 14.86 million yuan. In recent years, in the face of the challenges of the epidemic, "cross-border e-commerce + China-Europe freight trains" has been built into an "online silk road" and a "steel camel caravan" to connect trade. Up to now, Hefei China-Europe freight trains have shipped more than 2,200 trains in total, and sea-rail combined transportation has sent more than 150,000 TEUs, achieving an import and export trade volume of over 10 billion US dollars.

The Hefei China-Europe Railway Express implements five international scheduled trains, namely fixed point, fixed line, fixed number of trains, timing, and pricing, and the transit time is stable and controllable. The scale of opening lines has increased from less than 200 lines in the original three years to 668 lines in 2021. The frequency of opening lines has increased from 1-2 lines per month to 12-15 lines per week. In recent years,Hefei China-Europe Railway Express has continuously strengthened its coverage of the EU market, Central Asia, West Asia, and Siberia, and achieved the full connection of the five major ports such as Erenhot and Alashankou, and built a multi-line, multi-port, strong linkage and high coverage international logistics channel. By the end of March 2022, it has achieved point-to-point direct access to 16 countries including Germany, Russia and France, and 72 international sites including Hamburg and Helsinki, basically achieving full coverage of Europe.

Since 2021, under the background of extremely tight railway plans and severe epidemic situation, Hefei China-Europe Railway Express has insisted on full load operation. The high value of goods has become the brand image of Hefei China-Europe freight trains. In 2021, there were 23 trains worth over 10 million U.S. dollars, and 153 trains with a value of over 5 million U.S. dollars.

Facing the new opportunities for the construction of Anhui Free Trade Zone, the Hefei International Land Port Project has been put into construction, and it is developing towards the "four in one" of customs + port + international trade + land port logistics hub. Focusing on business sectors such as freight forwarding, international trade, logistics and warehousing, and supply chain finance, it will strengthen the extension of the entire ecological industry chain. In particular, Shushan cross-border e-commerce 9610, cross-border e-commerce B2B and Hefei China-Europe freight trains have achieved a perfect combination. In June and July 2021, special export trains have been launched to Wilhelmshaven, Germany. It has played an important role in helping Hefei cross-border e-commerce enterprises in epidemic prevention and control, resuming work and production, and stabilizing overseas industrial supply chains.

In 2021, the import and export of Anhui Province exceeded 100 billion US dollars, reaching 107.1 billion US dollars, an increase of 36.1%, and the growth rate ranks first in the Yangtze River Delta; 475 new foreign-invested enterprises was established, of which the proportion of foreign investment in manufacturing reached 39.5%; The actual amount of foreign investment in the Belt and Road Initiative increased by 40.9%, and Anhui's open economy has reached a new level.
