Xuancheng-1 was successfully launched

At 14:01 on March 5, communication remote sensing dual-mode satellite "Xuancheng-1" was successfully launched,as the first satellite developed and launched by private enterprises in our province, it will open the on-orbit technology verification and application mode innovation of communication and remote sensing integration for China's commercial satellites.

The Xuancheng-1 satellite was developed by Anhui province,taking more than two years to get it done. "It is expected to make contributions to the development of the aerospace information industry in Anhui Province during the 14th Five Year Plan Period." The chairman of the company mainly involved in the research and development of Xuancheng-1, who is from Xuancheng, said the company decided to name the satellite after Xuancheng in return for his hometown.It is worth mentioning that this company is one of the first private enterprises in China to work on commercial space remote sensing.

It is reported that the "Xuancheng-1" satellite will revisit Anhui province for one day,covering 60% of Anhui province,focusing on providing services for Anhui province and the Yangtze River Delta region,improving the all-weather commercial earth observation capability,and mainly developing industrial remote sensing information services in China and even the world.In addition,the big data and after service collected by satellites will provide efficient services for natural resources,ecological environment,agriculture and rural areas,traffic management,emergency management,finance and insurance,smart cities and other fields,helping governments at all levels to achieve accurate decision-making,precise governance and fine management.
