Anhui province adopts multiple fiscal measures to promote employment

Reporters recently learned from the provincial finance department that 3.08 billion yuan has been raised in 2021 to stabilize employment and support the implementation of various employment policies. From January to November last year, a total of 686,000 urban jobs were created in the province, 108.9 percent of the annual target was completed, with a year-on-year increase of 9.88%.

The province is constantly adapting to the new normal of economic and social development and supporting the stability of market entities. A total of 493 million yuan was paid to small, medium and micro enterprises for maintaining stable employment during the Spring Festival, as well as subsidies for working on New Year's eve. A provincial-level employment risk reserve fund of 460 million yuan was set aside to support stable job creation in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, and was distributed to 215,800 enterprises for free.

The province will focus on alleviating structural problems in employment, carry out vocational skills training on a large scale by relying on enterprises, vocational colleges and training institutions, and support the provision of free skills training for key groups such as newly hired employees of enterprises, retired soldiers and recipients of employment assistance. Up to now, the province has carried out subsidized training for 1.07 million person-times.

Give top priority to the employment of college graduates, and supported the implementation of community-level programs for college graduates, Anhui province makes policies to support the employment of graduates such as "60,000 in Three Years" Youth Probation Program.A total of 250 million yuan was allocated to support and guide employers to enroll unemployed youth aged 16 to 24 in 3-12-month employment training programs.

The province strengthened support for those in need, and allocated nearly 700 million yuan to provide job subsidies and social security subsidies for those who have difficulty finding jobs. The province continued to implement the phased expansion policy of unemployment insurance for one year. By the end of last November, a total of 1.76 billion yuan of unemployment insurance had been paid to 149,200 people. A total of 223 million yuan in unemployment subsidies was paid to 127,700 unemployed people.
