Anhui Transportation Holding Group won International Bridge Great Award

Recently, the International Bridge Conference announced the list of award-winning projects in 2023. The Pihe Main Canal Aqueduct declared by the General Design Institute of Anhui Transportation Holding Group Co., Ltd. won the Arthur G. Hayden Medal of the International Bridge Conference. It is the only award-winning Chinese project at this year’s International Bridge Conference.

Considering an international bridge academic conference with a high reputation, IBC is highly influential in the international bridge industry. The conference awards were established in 1988 and are selected once a year to commend outstanding bridge projects and individuals in terms of design, practicality, concept, environmental resources, etc. The special awards, such as the George S. Richardson Medal, the George S. Richardson Medal, and the Eugene C. Figg Medal, are only set one medal for each award each year, known as the “Nobel Prize” in the bridge circle.
