A media delegation visited Wuhu, East China’s Anhui province, on October 10, as part of a media tour launched in the province to publicize its achievements during the past five years.
Covering a total area of 6,026 square kilometers and with a population of 3.64 million, Wuhu has jurisdiction over one city, one county and five districts. As the second largest city in the province in terms of economic output, Wuhu registered 375.3 billion yuan ($58.2 billion) in GDP in 2020.
The reporters were given a glimpse of the city’s remarkable achievements in intelligent manufacturing, scientific and technological innovation, opening up and environmental protection during their visit.
