Baidu, China Speech Valley to Go into Partnership

Baidu Inc, China's leading search engine, will cooperate with China Speech Valley, an industrial park in East China’s Anhui province, in artificial intelligence (AI).

Zhang Gao, general manager of Education Division of Baidu Inc, said the company will work together with the Speech Valley to provide complete solutions for intelligent education. He made the remarks while visiting the industrial park in Hefei, capital of the province, on Tuesday.

“The company has established Baidu Cloud Service Center in Shushan district of Hefei. The center will cooperate with China Speech Valley in cultivating AI programs，”Zhang said.

China Speech Valley, an industrial park forming part of the Hefei State High-Tech Industry Development Zone, was launched in 2013 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Anhui government. It is designed to cover an area of 400 hectares and aims to be home to at least 1,000 enterprises during the next three years.
