April is a great time to enjoy flowers. About 2.2 million tulips bloomed at Bantang, a scenic area in Chaohu city, Anhui province, attracting many tourists including groups of middle school students and pupils. The flower field looks more scenic and spectacular compared to last year as the number of tulips has been increased to 2.2 million from 1.8 million in 2017.

The site has always been popular among tourists from Hefei, capital of the province, in spring. It was rated as a national 4A scenic area, second to the top 5A ones, and included among China’s top destinations for self-driving tour fans.
