Anhui Police Use Drones to Combat Virus

“Hello! Please wear a mask!” A worker without a mask who was hanging a banner at the gate of Zhixincheng Square in Shushan district in Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province, on Feb 9 became the first person to be spotted by drones from the local police.

Since Feb 9, the Shushan Police Station has been using drones to supervise residents and urge them to wear masks or quit gathering, as part of its efforts to control the novel coronavirus epidemic.
