The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released its latest list of China’s top 500 private companies on August 29, with four companies based in East China’s Anhui province making the cut.
Wenyi Investment Group registered 30.19 billion yuan ($4.43 billion) in revenue in 2017, ranking 247th on the list, while Anhui Guogou Investment Group recorded 21.07 billion yuan, ranking 355th. In addition, Zoyte Auto Group and Shanying International Group took the 361st and 443rd places with revenues of 20.80 billion yuan and 17.47 billion yuan, respectively.
Smartphone maker Huawei topped the list for the third time with revenue hitting 603.62 billion yuan,according to the list.
A total of 104 private businesses which did not make the cut in 2017 squeezed onto this year’s list. The minimum revenue on the list reached 15.68 billion yuan.
Revenues of each of the nine largest private firms exceeded 300 billion yuan last year.
The list was unveiled at the 2018 Summit of China Top 500 Private Enterprises held in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province.
