17 publishers from East China’s Anhui province are taking part in the 25th Beijing International Book Fair, one of the top four international book fairs in the world.
The Anhui pavilion showcases hundreds of publications and multiple creative cultural products as part of the province’s latest achievements in the publishing industry.
Publications on the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up, the 19th CPC National Congress and the Belt and Road initiative as well as books aiming for external publicity are highlights of the five-day event.
The Anhui delegation will hold a series of activities at the fair, including business talks, contract-signing ceremonies, new book releases, forums, and lectures.
At the opening ceremony on Wednesday, Time Publishing and Media Co., the local publishing giant, singed deals with partners from foreign countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Denmark and Lebanon to export more than 100 copyrights.
The fair attracts around 2,500 publishers from 93 countries and regions.
