Li Jinbin, Party chief of East China’s Anhui province, said the province is now in a decisive phase to finish building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, which “offers large space and great platforms to literary and artistic creation".
The remarks were made while he was meeting Zhao Shi, vice chairman of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC), in the provincial capital Hefei on Tuesday.
Thanks to the federation’s firm guidance, the province has made substantial advances in literary and art causes, Li said after briefing on economic and social development of Anhui.
The province, now in a decisive phase to finish building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, not only calls for considerable progress in literary and art pursuits, but also offers large space and great platforms to writers and artists, Li added.
The senior official voiced his hope that the federation will support Anhui’s development of literary and art as always.
In response, Zhao pledged the organization will make more contributions to the province’s literary and art causes.
Established in 1949, the CFLAC is a non-governmental organization composed of national associations of writers and artists.
