Photo taken on March 25, 2008 shows that the workers were working hard to make a final preparation for the operation of Tongling-Jiujiang railway.

Tongling-Jiujiang railway, starting from Shizishan station in Anhui province and ending at Jiujiang in Jiangxi province, is a key project in China and an important part of Nanjing-Wuhan railway.

The railway, a grade-one railway, is 250.9 kilometers long, with 162 kilometers in Anhui province. It totally has 16 stations and the designed speed is 120 kilometers per hour. It is said the railway will be incorporated into the national railway system in April this year.
