Special inspection on the quality and safety of agricultural products is being carried out To ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products and allow the people to eat safe and reassuring agricultural products, the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Yingdong District, Fuyang City, organized a particular inspection activity on the quality and safety of agricultural products throughout the District starting from March 23rd. During the inspection, personnel from the agricultural product quality supervision station went to fields, vegetable greenhouses, and agricultural supplies stores for centralized inspections. The focus was on whether input and output registration of materials is timely, whether production records are standardized, etc. They also distributed technical instructions and conducted face-to-face preaching to publicize knowledge of laws and regulations such as the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Law and the Food Safety Law, further increasing people's understanding and awareness of the quality and safety of agricultural products. So far, a total of 8 varieties and 32 samples have been supervised for inspection, with a 100% pass rate, and no illegal or irregular behaviors have been found among producers, including the inappropriate use of pesticides, veterinary drugs, and not following safety intervals management.
