A new national train operation diagram will take effect from July 1. Under the new diagram, the railway network in the Yangtze River Delta launches 1,156 pairs of routes, 53 pairs more than the previous diagram which was put into effect on April 10, and 927.5 pairs of bullet trains are operated, 60.5 pairs more than the April 10 diagram. The new diagram also shows four high-speed trains pass Zhegao Railway Station on a daily basis, 32 ones pass Feidong Railway Station and 142 ones pass Chaohudong Railway Station, as the Hefei-Hangzhou section of the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou high-speed railway opened on June 28. In order to better facilitate passengers' travel, Hefeinan Railway Station will add 47.5 pairs of trains along the Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou high-speed rail line. In addition, a pair of high-speed trains will run between Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province and Shenyang in Northeast China’s Liaoning province starting July 1. (By Li Renjian)
