Anhui builds 13,121 5G base stations

By the end of June, 13,121 5G base stations had been built in Anhui Province and its 16 cities had been covered by 5G commercial networks.

The technologies of 5G have played an important role in preventing and controlling the COVID-19. The 5G remote consultation rescue channel which was built with the help of Anhui telecom operators realized multi-party video interaction.

The "5G + thermal imaging" human body temperature measurement project launched by Anhui Unicom has ensured the safety of the public.

Thanks to the convenience of 5G cloud conference platform, Anhui epidemic prevention department has held more than 40,000 video conferences during the COVID-19 epidemic.(By Li Renjian)
