Jinzhai, Anhui: flowers begin to bloom as spring arrives

Over the past few days, Yulan magnolias (also known as Magnolia denudata or lily tree) in Wangchun Valley Scenic Area, Tiechong Township, Jinzhai County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province have begun to bloom.

The 5-kilometer-long Yulan magnolia belt is scattered with 400,000 wild lily trees.

It is not only known as "The best place to enjoy spring scenery in Dabie Mountain Area" but also the first stop for tourists from inside and outside Anhui province to come to Jinzhai for all-for-one tourism.

At present, some Yulan magnolias in the scenic area have begun to bloom, and the best period for viewing will be from late February to early March.

In recent years, Tiechong Township in Jinzhai County has actively promoted poverty alleviation and rural revitalization through the "flower economy" such as Yulan magnolia and azalea, combined with local tourism resources, and achieved remarkable results in driving villagers to find jobs and become rich at their doorstep.
