Green ecological corridor in Tongling

Photo taken on August 30 shows the Ecological Corridor of the Yangtze River in Laozhou town of Yi 'an district in Tongling City, east China's Anhui province. In recent years, Tongling has been intensifying efforts to improve the Yangtze River coastline, closing small docks and sand mines, speeding up process of virescence along the river, and building an ecological corridor of the Yangtze River where man and nature coexist harmoniously. The city is currently rolling out a project to expand the Yangtze River ecological corridor to 15 kilometers along the river to better protect the environment. (Photo by Guo Shining/Anhui Daily)
