Water quality of Nanfeihe river in Hefei improved

Aerial photo taken on September 2, 2020 shows the Silihe River section of the Nanfeihe River in Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province. The city has stepped up efforts to improve the water environment of the Nanfeihe River over the past few years. Monitoring data showed major pollutants in the river like chemical oxygen demand, ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus were below the evaluation indices between January and August.
