Anhui's Cultural Imports, Exports up 88% in 2019

Authorities in East China’s Anhui province have selected 13 companies as key cultural exporters during 2019-2020. The move aims to encourage local cultural enterprises to compete internationally, expand cultural exports, strengthen international cooperation among countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, and push Chinese culture to go global. The key cultural exporters include Funan Tianyi Arts & Crafts Co., Anhui Xinde International Printing Co., Anhui Education Publishing House, Anhui People’s Publishing House and Huangshan Publishing House. The province's cultural imports and exports totaled US$ 1.53 billion in 2019, up 88 percent from a year earlier.
