East China’s Anhui province released evaluation results of developing the manufacturing industry at the World Manufacturing Convention (WMC) on September 21.
Ten counties and county-level cities were rated as having well-developed manufacturing industry in 2018, namely, Feixi, Tianchang, Jieshou, Ningguo, Wuhu, Changfeng, Dangtu, Huaiyuan, Taihe and Wuwei, according to the results.
Ten districts with well-developed manufacturing were also announced at the event - Yijiang, Jiujiang, Daguan, Yaohai, Qiaocheng, Yongqiao, Baohe, Shushan, Yuhui and Tongguan.
Ten counties and county-level cities - Feixi, Changfeng, Jieshou, Taihe, Huaining, Guangde, Dangtu, Dingyuan, Fanchang and Shouxian - posted the highest growth in the manufacturing sector last year. So did the following ten districts - Guichi, Yuhui, Yijiang, Sanshan, Yongqiao, Nanqiao, Yushan, Jiujiang, Yu’an and Bengshan.
A list of top 50 manufacturers in 2018 was also unveiled, with Conch Group, Magang Group and the Anqing branch of Sinopec topping the list.
Meanwhile, the WMC awarded 50 outstanding entrepreneurs engaged in the manufacturing industry.
