The four-day 13th Anhui International Tea Industry Expo closed in Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province, on Monday. During the event, 39 deals worth almost 2.8 billion yuan ($408.8 million) were inked. In addition, the expo registered a transaction value of 1.9 billion yuan - 239 million -yuan on-the-spot sales, 1.5 billion yuan of potential deals and 163 million-yuan online sales. Covering an area of 53,000 square meters, this year’s expo showcased new products, technologies, equipment and materials in the tea industry. The event attracted 1,043 companies, 1,260 purchasing agents and more than 62,000 tea lovers from around the country.
