Market regulators in the Yangtze River Delta region signed seven cooperation agreements and memorandums at a meeting held in Jiashan county, East China’s Zhejiang province, on Wednesday. The documents covered areas such as the integration of market regulatory technology, the coordination in anti-monopoly law enforcement, the cooperation in promoting green product certifications, the verification of the capability of inspection and testing institutions and the establishment of a cloud platform to handle consumer complaints. The Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation and its counterparts in Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces also released ten results of cooperation in market regulation. A database with 150 million items of information on market entities in the region has been set up. Food safety tracking information has been shared in cities like Shanghai, Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, and Hefei, capital of Anhui province. The region has also established uniform standards in field such as recreational vehicle(RV) tourism and nursing homes for the aged.
